This is the thread to document and/or contribute material that you think should be added to our Internet OR Intranet sites.
When you add a new comment you can simply describe what's missing, what needs to be done. You can also supply the content itself, in the comment "body" or by attaching a file/s (scroll down and click on the "file attachments" link).
Give as much information and description that you can about the staff you send.
Be specific about how you think the material should be used -- for the general public, for staff only, for staff and board only. (The more accessible, the easier it is to manage the web site and the database -- so don't go crazy with "permissions" ideas.)
Let me know if you any technical or other questions.

Adding Content Tutorial
Tried it today and the image didn't change, though horizontal bar on the bottom moved from left to right.
Am I doing something wrong? I didn't have speakers hooked up so perhaps I didn't respond as needed.
Birthright Journal
Hey Shai. Birthright Journal number 10 is out of order in the sidebar from any birthright page. It stays under number 2. Also I realized that 1 & 2 use a colon instead of a hypen to seperate Birthright Journal from the "Part".
Mispelling on Kaplan Blog
I noticed that If you select Kaplan Blog on the main page sidebar, the first article has a mispelling on the link. It says "Communigs" - If this is a word, I apologize.
Thank you, this is fixed.
Thank you, this is fixed.
Synagogue Administration Policy Samples
Topics to find resources for (perhaps already in leadership notebook compilations)for PUBLIC use:
The Balancing Act of Ensuring Security -
include info Carl mentioned JRF gets from national sources as well as local strategies that aren't alarmist or expensive.
Facilities Rental Considerations -
implications for tax status, ensuring the kosher kitchen stays kosher, fee structures, criteria for potential renters (and/or exclusion criteria and Shabbat policies), renting as a strategy for building relationships with other Jewish and non-Jewish orgs. in the community

Resources Feedback - Publications & Qs from the Cong Log
I wasn't able to find the JRF Press, links to RRC Press, the current MaNishma or searchable RTs.
I'm also having difficulty with the nestedness of the Intranet. Not sure if I"m replying to Shai's thread or starting something new.
Has anyone systematically looked through the log for issues/attachments that we know people have asked for? I'm willing to tackle it or maybe we could split it up by region...
No'ar Hadash
When posting content to the site, can one of the topics and departments be No'ar Hadash? Also, on the left side bar, can No'ar Hadash be its own page on this site - with a link to the external website as a subcategory (similar to Education and RENA)? Thanks....
Yes
I've added "No'ar Hadash" as a "term" in the Deparatments "vocabulary". As for the "Topics" vocabulary -- that is under transition -- I'm in the process of removing departments from that vocabulary.
No problem making the link on the left sidebar for No'ar Hadash go to a page on the JRF web site -- from which folks can link to the No'ar Hadash web site. Just create a "page" - put whatever content you want in it and I'll link it to that menu item.
Fundraising Resources
I haven't seen anything on Planned Giving. I have piece, which I'd need to look for, on the definitions of various planned giving vehicles/meaning of CRUT, CRAT, CGA, etc.
But I don't know if we need to develop pieces that may have appeared over the years in RT -- or never were created.
