Mission:

"Temple Sinai is a synagogue of progressive Jewish values, both respecting our heritage and reinterpreting it. We are a diverse and inclusive community, committed to building a spiritual home through worship , education, social justice."

1. We are a Warm and Caring Community... A 300 family synagogue- large enough to offer a complete range of activities and services, small enough to know each other on a first name basis.
2. We are an Inclusive and Egalitarian Congregation... We welcome single members and families, including intermarried couples, single parent families, and unconventionally committed individuals.
3. We love Children... Monthly family services, individualized bar/bat mitzvah training; active P.T.A., junior and senior high youth groups, and innovative curriculum are all evidence of our commitment to children.
4. We love to Sing... Our worship is spirited and participatory, with varied musical accompaniment, combining traditional and creative prayer.
5. We Love to Learn... Every Shabbat morning we gather for a wonderful in-depth Torah study called the "beit midrash." On occasional Sunday mornings we hold "The Cutting Edge Sunday Brunch" - a provocative series on significant but controversial issues in contemporary Jewish life.
6. We Love to Teach... Our commitment to innovative and exciting Jewish education is evident in our classrooms, and is exemplified by our pioneering cultural arts curriculum. Our primary grade program is open to all prospective members.
