Marcelo Gindlin
Marcelo Gindlin was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has lived in southern California since 2000 where he is the full-time Cantor of the Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue. In addition to his certification as Hazzan & Ba’al Tefillah from the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary, he has two degrees in Music Therapy and has extensive experience as a teacher, composer, choir director, and performer. Born into a musical family, his father Moises was a professional Opera singer, and his sister Mariana is also a Cantor in Los Angeles. He has released 2 CDs of original Jewish music that have won several awards. He recently recorded a song with Adam Sandler on a CD called "The Jewish Songbook".
