Frances Kreimer grew up in the Reconstructionist homeland of Philadelphia. The values she learned in Mishkan Shalom's Hebrew School inspired her to spend a year working with coexistence organizations in Israel after graduating from high school, after which she returned to New York to complete a BA in Human Rights and Middle Eastern Studies. Her experience working with Palestinians in East Jerusalem brought her to work on issues of non-citizen rights and immigrant rights, which she has continued since leaving college. She is currently working as a paralegal and teaching Hebrew School in Boston.
