Clifford Goldsmith got his B.Sc. and MD at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He and his wife immigrated to the US in 1986 and settled in the Boston area where he began a new career in Medical Informatics. Clifford discovered Jewish Reconstructionism at Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in West Newton and has played an active role in congregational life.

For the past four years Clifford has managed a program called the Tikkun Olam Family Work Project which organizes a parents and children building service project for one week each summer. He has worked with Camp JRF for the past three years helping campers and counselors with various building projects including the building of its outdoor Bet Tefillah. This past summer Clifford worked with new Camp JRF counselors on a building service and he also organized the first JRF parents and children service project living at Camp JRF and doing building service in the surrounding community.
