Jane Susswein has been a member of Bnai Keshet in Montclair, NJ for 30 years. Jane graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Philosophy, and has an MAT from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She heard Mordecai Kaplan speak while she was in Boston -that was the start of a love affair with Reconstructionism. She is an ardent Kaplanian, and has been teaching Intro to Reconstructionism classes at Bnai Keshet and elsewhere for many years.
Jane has been active on the Bnai Keshet board for years, in a variety of capacities, from programming to newsletter editor to membership. She was president of the JRF from 1992-96, and is still a member of the JRF board.
