Mayim Rabim Reconstructionist Congregation, founded in 1992, is affiliated with the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation. Reconstructionist Judaism was founded by Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan and seeks to bring together tradition and modern ideals.

Mayim Rabim offers regular adult education sessions on a variety of topics which are led either by Rabbi Bauer or lay leaders from the congregation. Topics have included: "An Exploration of Reconstructionism", "Navigating the Prayerbook", "Jewish Spiritual Paths", "Who is a Jew," "Jewish Mourning Practices", and "Deepening our Connection to the Jewish Holiday." Occasionally Mayim Rabim community members organize book discussions. The congregation hosts speakers from time to time on a variety of subjects including on life and politics in Israel. Any suggestions for future adult education sessions are always welcome.
No previous knowledge is required to attend any adult education event at Mayim Rabim.
