Jerry SilvermanJerry SilvermanJERRY SILVERMAN is the president of the Foundation for Jewish Camp, the only national organization dedicated to nonprofit Jewish resident camps, promoting program and leadership excellence to camps and access to vibrant Jewish experiences for campers. Silverman brings to the Foundation an intimate knowledge of both the corporate world and the nonprofit sector from his lifetime dedication to both Jewish and children’s advocacy causes. Before joining the foundation, he served as president of the Stride Rite Children’s Group and the Keds Corporation. While at Stride Rite, he also served as president of the Board of Directors for both Camp Ramah in New England and the Stride Rite Day Care Center. Jerry is married to Erica Silverman and is the father of five children ranging in age from 12-21. All of them attend Jewish summer camp.
