Music for Commemoration of 9/11

Chevre,

Do you have suggestions for musical themes for the upcoming Shabbat on 9/11? Songs of rememberance and songs of hope?

Thanks,

Leslie Lesner

re: Music for Commemoration of 9/11

Hi Leslie -

Hebrew only or Hebrew and English?

I'd consider some of these, one or two being "standards":

Gesher Tsar M'od
Achat Sha'alti (I don't know any version but my own, which I can share)
Ani Ma'amin (I know a great version that is not the "usual one" and has a great build - I wish I knew the composer)
There is Hope, by David Paskin

Please let me know what else you have in mind for for objective, and I'll be pleased to brainstorm more with you...
Good luck,
David
