Shabbat Service Recordings
A major project of the Education Committee is to make recorded copies
of Shabbat service and some blessings available to Beth Am members. The
aim of this project is to enhance learning and to encourage members to
begin leading parts of the service. In the fall, there will also be
several sessions led by a teacher to allow in-depth learning of the
service and to answer questions.
Recordings of the service have been reproduced by Mark Hyman on CD from
the tape in the Beth Am library. Karen Berkowitz will also record a
tape of the Torah blessings and the haftorah blessings for
distribution.
Members interested in checking out one of the recordings can do so by
calling Ana Blancarte. Although there is no charge for checking out the
recordings, a contribution to Beth Am's general fund at the member's
discretion would be greatly appreciated.
